It’s quarantine in our apartment. My beloved and dear husband caught the cold, but I’m still holding good. I’m sure he will get better soon!
But this post is not about illness, it’s rather about “how to avoid the disease, when someone is sick”. What do you do in such cases when your husband, children or roommate caught the cold and you can’t avoid the contact with the sick one?
For example, I try to bring all kisses to a minimum. To be more serious, I drink a lot of water (by the way you should read Rachel’s post about the benefits of water) with a slice of lemon and few drops of this. Of course there always be a local honey, herbal teas , vitamin C in different forms and some alcohol (not always).
From time to time I like to treat myself with fried bread with garlic. It’s not the healthiest snack in the world, but I hardly know any way how to eat a lot of garlic at the same time.
Yesterday I tried my hands on making cough drops - didn’t succeed. And now I’m waiting for my garlic syrup to be ready.
Hmm.. what else? I think I have shared everything I had, now it’s your turn:)

I hope you stayed well! Sounds like you have the right idea. I follow the rule - water, rest, exercise, and good whole foods (lots of raw fruits and veg). We love our thieves and oregano essential oils, as well - always rub them on everyone's feet when anyone shows signs of sickness.
