Knitting (my handspun vest)

I was playing with these yarns for some time. The journey began last year, when I bought some white wool and then wool roving for variations.
It took some time to turn these materials into another ones. And while I was spinning, I was dreaming about all the different projects I could make, especially my mind was occupied with this cardigan. I even started making itbut understood that I don’t have enough yarns to complete the project. That’s why the decision was obvious: to unravel and hide yarns for better times.

The better times came this year. After some inspirational surfing through Ravelry, I came to the conclusion that I should probably make top-down vest with colorful “top” and simple “down”. I was craving for mindless knitting, so the only pattern I followed was my intuition.

The vest turned out pretty roomy, but I like this feature because it allows me to wear more layers underneath. Also it looks rather rustic and really handmade, but again - I like it. It helps me to look different, it helps me to look more myself.
